Spend Mother’s Day with native wildflowers in an area of Mt. Hood National Forest recently affected by wildfire. Experience the burst of green abundance that frequently follows fire. Hike leaders Rachel Freifelder and Lo Goldberg have many years of experience as forest ecologists, and Rachel studied fire ecology as a graduate student at Stanford University. Zak Weinstein of the Native Plant Society of Oregon will add expertise on the plants we see. Co-sponsored with Bark.
